Cathay Pacific, over 50,000 feet and 850 km/hour approximately, Hong Kong to Vancouver. Here I go to join my mother-ship. Put on your mask! It's swine-flu attack! Yeah... a lot of people put on the mask. I didn't want to take a risk, so I put it either.

Here I am... After 12 hours flight, welcome in Vancouver, Canada BC. It was amazed me. How could I arrive in the same day after I spent 20 hours long-trip? Laugh! It is 36 hours different from my home, set back! But again, I still amaze... It is 09.30 PM already, but why there is still sun-bright? Hahaha... Fool me! Then, it was completely dark after 10.15 PM.
Next, I arrived in my Hotel, Four Season Hotel by Sheraton, after I lost and entered the wrong hotel. Lucky me, the shuttle-bus driver fully helped me. Once, I got a kindness from my outer. The other side of world that I've just stepped in. Thank you Vancouver!

Then, the front desk were welcoming me and they asked me:"Why are you wearing that mask?". I've worn this since Hongkong. It is swain-flu issue. "Come put it off. No swain flu in Vancouver. You don't need the mask, you can breath and inhale the fresh air here". Well, thanks God, finally, I can breath! Yeah...!
Next, in the morning, it is 05.30 AM. I have ready in lobby to picked-up. And suddenly someone asked me loud and clear: "Are you Holland America Line?". Yes, Sir. I am. "Well, I am your Captain, Bos, Peter Bos. Welcome on board!". Nice to see you here Sir. Thank you. I'm Muftie Arief, ready to join Ms Volendam! On your command Sir! "Good, let's go then. The shuttle has arrived".

Oh yeah, I forgot something. I met the nice girl. I will not forget her. She spoke to me in the early morning before my captain did. Yeah, I remember, she is Myrthe Numans.
